As we age, maintaining physical and nutritional health becomes increasingly vital to sustaining peak performance and overall well-being.
This program is designed for individuals aged 50 and above, as well as those entering or enjoying retirement, to equip them with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in this stage of life. By focusing on holistic health encompassing mobility, nutrition, strength, cognitive vitality, and emotional resilience—this program offers a comprehensive approach to aging well.
Program highlights:
Empirically Based - This program draws from over three decades of research and practical experience in coaching high-performance athletes, business leaders, and individuals navigating mid-life transitions.
Practical Application - The program breaks down complex scientific research into actionable steps that can be easily integrated into daily life. With a focus on preservation, performance, prevention, and promotion of health, participants will learn structured, practical skills that support long-term vitality.
Expert Facilitation - Shane Lakins has over three decades of experience in leadership and performance coaching, where he has inspired countless individuals to unlock their full potential. As the visionary leader of the Per4mance Institute (P4i), Shane has pioneered a multidisciplinary approach to success, guiding high-performance athletes on the world stage and coaching business executives to reach new heights. His exceptional career as Canada's Head Coach at multiple World Championships in Cross Country and Track & Field has earned him widespread respect in the athletic community.

BEND BUT DON'T BREAK: Building Resilience for Peak Performance in Work and Life
Resilience – defined as one’s ability to bounce back from stress and build new forms of competency from adverse experiences (Imtiaz et al., 2017) – is a critical skill in today’s high-pressure world.
This empirical-based program aims to cultivate mental fitness in leaders and their teams by equipping them with the tool-kits required to navigate challenge and adversity in work and life.
The program is founded on the following three principles:
Empirically Based - This program leverages over 15 years of research and experience in pressure-laden domains such as NCAA Division 1 athletics, the Canadian Armed Forces, and Fortune 500 companies to deliver solutions that have been tried and tested in experimental and real-world settings.
Practical - We use lessons from sport psychology to teach individuals from all walks of life how to train their minds like elite performers in order to supplement their physical and technical training.
Expert Facilitation - Dr. Faizan Imtiaz is an Associate Professor of Organizational Psychology at Towson University in Maryland. Along with publishing several peer-reviewed research articles and chapters on resilience, Dr. Imtiaz has taught resilience at both the graduate and undergraduate level across several global institutions including Towson University in the United States; Queen's University, McGill University, and the Royal Military College in Canada; The B.A.I.S. School in Argentina; and Qaid-e-Azam University in Pakistan.
